Jordan

Jordan is an illustrator turned hairstylist. She studied at Paul Mitchell and loves to bring out her creativity through all kinds of haircutting, especially shags & other alternative cuts, fantasy/vivid colors, color blocking, and all things warm & cozy. Her favorite thing about doing hair is connecting with clients and helping their outward appearance match the way they see themselves on the inside. Queer friendly & a safe space for all!

Jordan is also Velvet Monkey Salon 63rd’s Social Media Manager so you might find her making sure all our stylist’s remember to take their before & after photos or coordinating the salon’s next video.

When she’s not doing hair, you can find her drawing, watching her favorite movies like Labyrinth, listening to her favorite music like Todd Rundgren, or hanging out with her two mini dachshunds.
